Just a few days to Freedom and RELAXATION!!

Our next retreat is only a few days away, and boy do I need a retreat!! I can't believe it is only two weeks from Christmas. There is still so much I have left to do.

We have been receiving new merchandise lately and there are some great products here. We have been getting quite a few stamps from Impression Obsession and Technique Tuesday. We have some adorable sample pages made from some new papers we've discovered from several different companies. If you need some good ideas come on in and see what Tammy has come up with.

We had our first class last week and it was a lot of fun. We created some adorable Christmas Paper Bag Albums and two Christmas Cards. Then we even finished off the evening with some warm and gooey Brownies!! Can't beat a good dessert!

We have several more classes on the Calendar. Go ahead and check it out. Explosion Boxes, Cards, Acrylic 6"x6" Album, and an Organization Class. Check the Calendar out for times and dates.

There has been quite a few requestes for an extended Mini Retreat. so January 11, 12, & 13 is going to be an extended mini-retreat so the price is only $75.00 and we will provide breakfast Sat & Sun, scrapbook space, and lodging.

The retreat on January 25 - 27 is still going to be a regular retreat. There will be prizes, make and takes, all the food and snacks you need and plenty of fun.

I'm slowly falling asleep here so I better go and get some rest. We hope to see you in the store if you have the chance (mention this blog and you can save $5.00 off your next $30.00 purchase when shopping locally or online- online discount will be given after you order but before I process the order. Just make sure you mention this Blog in the space for comments. - Offer Good Until Jan 1, 2008)

Another weekend of RELAXATION!!!!

I got home today from another fun weekend of scrapbooking. The girls loved it!! The more we do this the more pages we can complete in two days. The girls are making more and more amazing pages as the retreats go by. There will be some of them on display in the store so come on in and look at some of their great ideas. We have scheduled our first class, it will be on Monday December 3rd at 6pm. We will be making 2 christmas cards and a christmas paper bag album. I will be adding pictures of these to the website and I will attemp to add it to this blog.

We have another retreat planned for December 14&15. If you prefer the 15&16 let me know and if we have enough requests we can make it happen. These retreats are from noon Friday until Midnight Saturday so there is more then enough time to get tons of scrapbooking done. And for the low price of $35 you can't really beat that. I believe we have created 4 new retreat addicts after this last retreat. There were several girls that have never come to a retreat and said they can't wait for the next one. I do have to recommend that we bring more drinks and soda's next time. We had a ton of food and just water to drink. So make note - if you like to be refreshed by an ice cold soda or what ever, bring it with you!! We've been able to keep these retreats so inexpensive because we are going potluck, so everyone brings soemthing for each dinner and for snacks during the day. We cook breakfast on Saturday. It has worked out great so far and I can testify to you that noone will ever starve at a retreat (or families might while mom's gone HA HA).

If you like to SAVE MONEY!! then check out the CDA Press on the first Saturday of each month, we know have a coupon in the coupon book so you can save if you shop locally. There are also ads in the Nickel's Worth. If you bring in the Nickel's worth ad you can save also. We love to help you save money. That's why our prices are 15% below the normal prices. We don't have the expenses as the big retail shops and we'd like to pass that saving on to you. We are here to help make scrapbooking more affordable.

We will have a booth at the Rathdrum Elementary School Craft far next weekend and then on December 1st we will be at a craft fair in St. Maries Idaho. If you have a chance to stop by and say Hi I'd love to meet you.

Our Retreat the end of January still has two openings and the retreat the second weekend of January has a few more openings also so let me know if you'd like to come I hate to have to tell you how fun it was because you didn't get a seat. The January retreats are going to have some cool make and takes and some awesome door prizes, and a Sweet Grand Prize (digital camera)

Relaxation and Scrapitation

Now there's a new word I've never heard before (scrapitation). I'm not sure what I was aiming for when I wrote that. Back to the retreat last weekend it was VERY RELAXING!!!! What a great cozy place to be. We felt pampered and quite succesful by the time we were done. We got to play until 1 am on Sunday which was much later then our original plan but we just couldn't stop scrappin'. There isn't a Huge room for scrappin' but there is plenty of space if you plan ahead and bring what you need. We each got a 2' x 4' table space and then all the floor space we needed however next time we will have more people. Infact we already have 7 people signed up for the next Mini Retreat. It will be November 14 & 15. If you want to bring your own dinners it is $35.00, and if you want dinner provided it is $50.00. There is only room for 12 women in the main area so there are only 5 seats left. If you think you want to come and relax let me know and we can reserve your spot today!!

PS. Don't add to much soap to the jetted garden tub - the bubbles multiply quite quickly with the jets on. HA HA me! I spent more time cleaning it up then enjoying the bath to begin with.

New Products are in!

I recieved many boxes today of new products from the Scrapbook Convention. Mostly Albums and Adhesives, there are also clear stamps from Autumn Leaves that arrived.

There are albums from Pioneer, Bazzill, Making Memories, EK (Disney and M&M's). Albums range from 4x6 to 8x8 to 12x12 sizes. There are 3 ring binder albums, snapload albums, top loading albums and very inexpensive simple photo books.

There are lots of Adhesives that we got in - 3L, Glue Dots, Herma, Vario, Terrifically Tacky, etc.

Come by and see what there is and don't forget to check out the CDA Press for a coupon in Wed Oct. 10th paper. The coupon cannot be used on the new arrival items however we'll take an additional 10% 0ff these items. We strive to mark all items at 15% off Retail Price so an extra 10% will help you save 25% on the coolest and newest things in the store.

Things have been selling quickly so come in soon for the best selection.

School is rolling and time is flying

I went to my son's school's open house today and I can't believe how many things he's already learned and made in school. It has barely been a week.

Speaking of time flying we are almost to the end of our big 25% off sale. We are taking an additional 25% off everything except the few new arrival items - Thru September 15th. Then Tami and Angela will be driving to VEGAS!!!! Next week is the scrapbook convention already. It seems like it's been only a few days since I've even heard about the convention yet here we are months later and it is time to go. MAMMA gets a VACATION!!!! YEEEEEE HAAAAAA!!!! NO I'm not excited.

I've been preparing for my big garage sale that is suppose to be going on and I'm still so far from ready. There is a lot of stuff out but still so much more needs to be set out and i still have to price everything. Between the store's sale and my personal garage sale and then getting ready for my vacation I'm crazy busy. Vacations are suppose to be relaxing but in order to prepare I have to line up babysitters, snacks, meals, clean clothes, schedules, school snacks, homework help, etc etc etc ---- does the list ever end. Is there an easier way?!?!?!? I can't wait till I'm finally on the road and I can say Who Cares - NOT ME!! Just kidding.

Back to our big sale. We have tried so hard over the last few weeks (now months) to drop all the prices down in the store but I keep running into some major computer issues - so bear with me when you come to shop. we are trying our hardest to give you the best deal possible without giving away the far - however I'm not sure what the farm is worth some days (ha ha). For all you online shoppers you to can take advantage of the 25% off sale - however we are still trying to get the website straighten out, we are constintly selling out of things and it has been very challenging to update the website especially considering we didn't create the website so we have no idea what is and isn't on the website until we spent the time looking for each individual item.

Thanks to all of you that have helped me laugh through all these fun and yet painful times. I'm glad to be able to stop and visit as people come into the store and introduce themselves to me. I seem to always need a break and someone almost always shows up about that time. Now that it is after midnight I better get to turning off some lights and go to bed. Thanks for spending your time with us and we will chat again soon. Thanks Angela
