Underground Scrapbook Supply

Welcome to my daily BLOG. In order to cut down on weekly newsletters that seem to be sent daily anymore, I thought I’d go another route. This is for the serious shopper who wants current information on all the latest scrapbook happening!

Good Bye Fair

We had a lot of fun at the fair but it is really nice to be home and out of the dirt and dust of our booth. We had a wonderful time meeting everyone and we look forward to all the fun activities to come. I (Angela) am so excited to have plans for future scrap nights with you girls (and even a guy or two). There are so many talented women that entered scrapbook pages and cards into the fair they were all amazing. I hope you don't mind when I start stealing ideas from your entrys.

We are planning our huge back to school sale. And a Going Going Gina's Gone sale!! We are planning to knock the prices down to as low as we can and sale sale sale!!! We are itching to get the new cool things in and the only way to do that is to sale what we have so we will have space for the new stuff!!! Let's move all the memories from the past and start over on a clean slate!! Lets get to shopping (for you and me!!) There is only so much wall space in this home and every inch seems to be filled and there is still so much in boxes.

Tami and I are going to be gone September 16 to the 22nd at a Scrapbook Convention!! So we are going to have our big sales between September 5th and September 14th. We also want your input on what things you are looking for and want to see in our store. I'm talking about either merchandise or services (retreats, classes, make and takes, etc). We got a lot of input from the fair attendees and I am so appreciative of each person that spent a few minutes with us and let us learn so much from you.

Kootenai County Fair

We are currently set up at the Fair in Couer d'Alene Idaho and we are having a blast. There is a free kids activity to make a picture card. We have been taking the kids picture and then printing it out so they can make a cute card to have. We also have several different $1.00 card making kits for everyone. There are some cute cards to make and they are great for birthdays, Mothers day, Fathers day, Holidays, I miss yous, I love yous, and just because you are you! Come by and say hi and make a card.

We have about 1/2 of the stores merchandise at the fair so there is plenty to look at. We are slightly hidden back in the trees just west of the food court but with the trees shading us it is a much much much cooler area then the rest of the sunny fair.

Last week in the emails I sent out we had a free shipping offer and we were busy filling orders all weekend. Thanks for the great response. Sorry to those that didn't get the chance to be part of that. We will do it again some time I'm sure.

Next weekend we will be at Paul Bunyan Days then after school starts here we will be back to normal and life will get back to more scrapbooking. YEAH!!

Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you all soon!!

Hello From Angela

Hello everyone - my name is Angela - my sister and I had the opportunity to purchase Gina's store from her and we are very very excited to be able to write in the blogs. I hope you will continue to spend your time with us and continue checking on us to see what is happening.

We have a double booth at the Kootenai County Fair next week and we are very excited about all the fun things we are getting ready for make and takes. We will have many different cards that you can buy for a $1.00 and we will have two or three tables set up so you can sit and make the cards there. I hope you each will come by and let us get to know you.

We have the retreats for January open now. There is one from the 11th to the 13th and a second retreat from the 25th to the 27th. You can buy the retreats now for $195.00 but after October 1st the retreats will be $225.00. We plan on doing a couple classes at the retreat and we have already got a grand prize and are planning to buy a digital camera as a second grand prize so each weekend we will give away one big prize and lots of little prizes. There is going to be some great meals ( I think they are great give me your input on what you crave and maybe we can make it even better). If you want to room with a friend then hurry and sign up together so we can schedule you in the same room and if you want the same table area in the conference room. If there are any ladies that want their own rooms or maybe some that want to share with 4 ladies/ friends let us know so we can work out the difference in the price.

Come by and see us at the fair - you can stop and relax we'll have lots of fun things to look at and buy. I sure hope you are all having a fun summer and are keeping cool!! We will see you around - The store is open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 am to 7 pm, however the next few weeks will be crazy with the fair and then we will be at Paul Bunyan days. Mid September Tami and I will be at the Scrapbook convention and then by late september we will be back to a regular routine. We crop during the days on Wednesdays and Fridays and we are going to have crops on Friday Evenings also. Crops are free so call and make sure there is table space and then we will see you there.

Thanks for spending your time with us
